USP Content is a multi-platform production company which means we make tv and radio programmes for distribution across the whole spectrum of channels available, broadcast, online, digital, social media, internal/external corporate, special interest groups etc.
Founded in 1990 by broadcaster Rob Jones (Radio City, RTL, Granada, SKY, Virgin), Kevin Twittey became a shareholder in the business in 2002. His marketing agency Triangle was, at the time, USP’s biggest client for whom the company made branded content, notably for Cadbury.
We are client led and client focused. Those clients include the BBC, SKY Sports, ITV, Absolute Radio, Magic Radio, Sainsbury’s, Age UK, Guide Dogs, Lego, Destination Events and Fidelity Asset Management to name just a few of the many.
Among our larger productions is the live worldwide tv coverage of the London New Year’s Day Parade which is a three and half hour live broadcast seen by over 300 million people around the globe. On January 1st 2018 no less than 650,000 lined the streets of Westminster to watch.
USP also produces all of the BBC’s Formula 1 coverage with a team travelling the world to deliver live commentary of every race.
On an equally epic scale we have followed the 9 months of the Volvo Ocean Race delivering daily coverage for broadcasters around the world.
Women’s Super League football, Horse Racing, International Netball and British Basketball are all on our list of credits. We believe the greatest single day sports event on the planet is the NFL Super Bowl, we’ve done 11 of them to date.
Our team of in-house producers and production staff are sports mad, of course, but we also love music and radio and we manage our own 24/7 DAB and online radio station, The Wireless. We have a great track record in producing food programming for brands and we’ve worked with celebrity chefs James Martin, Heston Blumenthal, Brian Turner and many others in producing cooking content.
Live streaming content is growing exponentially and we are at the forefront of this with live streamed content for L’Oreal, Very (with Robbie Wiiliams) and Warner Brothers’ Harry Potter franchise.
In the corporate world, we have produced 18 films for Sainsbury’s Corporate and Social Responsibility division.
We have produced branded fully produced concerts with Tom Jones, Pet Shop Boys, Ronan Keating, George Benson, Alice Cooper, Jamie Cullum and many more.
We work in tandem with our clients and their agencies to deliver to the brief.
